Car Pool – Panchsheel Greens 2 (PG2)

These Terms & Conditions govern the use of the Car Pool platform/service for residents of Panchsheel Greens 2. By accessing, registering, or participating in carpool activities through this platform, you agree to comply with the terms outlined below.

1. Membership & Eligibility

• Residents Only: Participation is strictly limited to verified residents of Panchsheel Greens 2.
• Verification: The platform reserves the right to verify residency and deny or revoke access if eligibility criteria are not met.

2. Cost Sharing & Non-Commercial Use

Not-for-Profit Only: Carpooling is intended solely for cost-sharing purposes. Members may share actual expenses such as fuel and tolls.

No Commercial Use: Charging passengers for profit or operating a private (white plate) vehicle for commercial purposes is illegal under Indian law and is strictly prohibited.

Pre-Agreed Cost Sharing: Any cost-sharing arrangement must be clearly discussed and mutually agreed upon by all participants before the journey begins.

3. Usage Guidelines & Conduct

Relevant Usage Only: The platform must be used exclusively for carpool-related requests, offers, confirmations, or essential travel updates.

Punctuality & Commitment: Drivers and riders are expected to adhere to agreed timings. Any delay or cancellation should be communicated promptly.

Route Adherence: Unplanned deviations from the agreed route are not permitted unless mutually agreed upon by all participants.

Respectful Conduct: Harassment, misuse, misleading information, or inappropriate behavior will not be tolerated.

4. Privacy & Data Responsibility

User Privacy: Personal contact details or identifiable information of members must not be shared outside the platform without explicit consent.

Limited Data Use: The platform does not assume responsibility for how users interact or exchange information beyond facilitating connections.

5. Safety Advisory

Vehicle Identification: Users are advised to travel only in vehicles displaying the society’s green security sticker, especially when travelling with individuals they do not personally know.

Personal Judgment: Users are responsible for exercising discretion and assessing their own safety before participating in any ride.

6. Disclaimer & Limitation of Liability

Facilitation Only: The platform and its administrators act solely as facilitators and do not provide transportation services.

No Liability: Panchsheel Greens 2, the platform, and its administrators shall not be held responsible for:

• Accidents or injuries
• Vehicle damage
• Financial disputes
• Misconduct between users

Participation at Own Risk: All users participate voluntarily and at their own risk.

7. Right to Suspend or Remove Access

The administrators reserve the right to suspend or permanently remove access to the platform for any user who:

• Violates these Terms & Conditions
• Engages in harassment or unsafe behavior
• Misuses the platform or provides false information

8. Legal Compliance

All participants must comply with applicable local, state, and national traffic laws and regulations at all times.

9. Amendments

These Terms & Conditions may be updated from time to time. Continued use of the platform constitutes acceptance of any revised terms.
